Description

A delicious recipe for Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon that is easy to prepare and packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the brown sugar glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze.
  • Serve the salmon over a bed of rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
