Description
A creamy and cheesy dish featuring tender cauliflower and shredded chicken, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cauliflower florets (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- If using fresh cauliflower, steam the florets until tender, about 5-7 minutes. If using frozen, microwave according to package instructions until heated through.
- In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Add the cooked chicken and steamed cauliflower to the bowl. Stir gently until everything is evenly coated with the creamy mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, mix in some cooked bacon or sautéed mushrooms before baking.
- Substitute the chicken with cooked ground turkey or sausage for a different protein option.
