Delicious chocolate chip and white chocolate chip cookies that are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, using a hand mixer or stand mixer, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips using a spatula.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For a chewy texture, slightly underbake the cookies and let them sit on the baking sheet for a few extra minutes before transferring.
- Try adding ½ cup of chopped nuts, such as walnuts or pecans, for added crunch and flavor.
