- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese and egg yolks. Mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with the cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the cottage cheese mixture, being careful not to deflate the egg whites.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture, folding gently until just combined.
- Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming 6 to 8 mounds.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cloud bread is golden brown and set.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter version, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract and a tablespoon of sweetener to the cottage cheese mixture.
- Use different seasonings like Italian herbs or smoked paprika to customize the flavor of your cloud bread.
