Description
A delicious and creamy pasta bake featuring tender steak and a rich Alfredo sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
- In a large baking dish, combine the cooked pasta, cooked steak, and cream mixture. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pasta bake.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider marinating the steak in a mixture of soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- You can substitute the sirloin steak with grilled chicken or sautéed mushrooms for a different protein option.
