Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound frozen fish sticks
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven and cook the fish sticks according to the package instructions until they are golden and crispy.
- While the fish sticks are baking, prepare the toppings. In a small bowl, mix the sour cream, lime juice, chili powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper to create a zesty sauce.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- Once the fish sticks are done, assemble the tacos by placing 2-3 fish sticks on each tortilla.
- Top with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, diced tomatoes, and a sprinkle of cilantro.
- Drizzle the zesty sauce over the top of each taco.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy fish stick tacos!
Notes
- For added crunch, consider adding sliced radishes or pickled jalapeños as a topping.
- Swap out the fish sticks for grilled shrimp or chicken for a different protein option.
