A delicious and healthy grilled salmon recipe topped with a tangy Dijon mustard sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh dill (or 1/2 teaspoon dried dill)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, dill, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets.
- Carefully flip the salmon and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- During the last minute of grilling, brush the Dijon mustard sauce over the salmon fillets.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the Dijon mustard sauce.
- Serve the grilled salmon over a bed of mixed greens or alongside roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
