- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, egg, shredded cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread a layer of BBQ sauce on top of the meatloaf for added flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
