In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken and barbecue sauce. Mix well until the chicken is fully coated. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix the cottage cheese with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
In a large serving bowl or individual bowls, layer the cottage cheese mixture at the bottom.
Top the cottage cheese with the BBQ chicken mixture.
Add cherry tomatoes, corn, and diced avocado on top of the chicken.
Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with smoked paprika if using.
Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
