Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the brown sugar glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
