Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 package 8 ounces refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, and mustard. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
  5. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  6. Place a spoonful of the cheeseburger mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  7. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, sealing the edges to create a pocket.
  8. Place the pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
