Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup crab meat cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup green onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup crushed crackers such as Ritz or saltines
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop the mixture and form small balls.
  4. Roll each ball in the crushed crackers, then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the melted butter. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the crab balls for added crunch.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
