Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe avocado peeled and pitted
  • 1 medium banana frozen
  • 1 cup spinach leaves packed
  • 1 cup almond milk or any milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds optional
  • Ice cubes optional, for a thicker texture

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine the avocado, frozen banana, spinach, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and chia seeds.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
