Ingredients

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley optional for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  5. In a large baking dish, combine the cooked pasta, cooked steak, and cream mixture. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the pasta bake.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.

  • You can substitute the sirloin steak with grilled chicken or sautéed mushrooms for a different protein option.
