Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This will help them become crispy.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the seasoning mixture. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until the wings are evenly coated.
Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook them in batches.
Cook the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Once cooked, transfer the wings to a large bowl and toss them with your favorite wing sauce.
Serve immediately with celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch dressing, if desired.
