Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the red velvet cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake for 25–30 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth, about 3–4 minutes.
  5. Fold in chopped strawberries into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Spread the cream cheese and strawberry mixture evenly over the cooled cake layer.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
