- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bring the deep-dish pie crust to room temperature, fit it into the pan, prick the base, and pre-bake for 10 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and sausage, breaking them up until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over the pre-baked crust, layer half of the mozzarella cheese, then the meat mixture, more pizza sauce, and the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Spread pepperoni slices over the top and sprinkle Parmesan cheese if using.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the pie cool for 5-10 minutes, then slice into wedges to serve.
