Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs use for juiciness
  • 2 Tbsp gochugaru Korean red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsp gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce low-sodium preferred
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp sugar brown sugar or honey
For Cooking
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil neutral oil like canola
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil optional
For Garnish
  • 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 stalks green onions chopped

Method
 

Marinating and Cooking
  1. In a large bowl, combine gochugaru, gochujang, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sugar. Add boneless chicken thighs and mix thoroughly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet, spreading it out evenly. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Drizzle sesame oil over the chicken and toss gently to coat. Let the chicken sit in the skillet for a few moments.
  5. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot.
