Marinating and Cooking
- In a large bowl, combine gochugaru, gochujang, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sugar. Add boneless chicken thighs and mix thoroughly. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the marinated chicken to the skillet, spreading it out evenly. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Drizzle sesame oil over the chicken and toss gently to coat. Let the chicken sit in the skillet for a few moments.
- Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot.
