Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Crush 20 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix crushed Oreos with 8 ounces of softened cream cheese and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until a thick dough forms.
  3. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll into egg shapes.
  4. Chill truffles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  5. Melt 1 cup of white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  6. Color the melted coating with pastel food coloring if desired.
  7. Dip each chilled truffle into the colored coating and let excess drip off.
  8. Decorate with sprinkles or drizzle before the coating sets.
  9. Let the treats set at room temperature for about 15 minutes or refrigerate for 10 minutes.
