  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the prepared puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of dried or sweetened fresh cranberries over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Starting from one edge, tightly roll the pastry into a log shape and slice into ½-inch thick pieces.
  6. Arrange the slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake.
  7. Let the pinwheels cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a serving platter.
