  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough over the filling, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides as you go to seal the filling inside.
  6. Place the rolled pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops of the pillows with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pillows are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
