Ingredients
  

For the Meatloaf
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken Can substitute with ground turkey
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Italian seasoned preferred
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated is best
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 medium Onion Diced
  • 1 Egg Can substitute with flaxseed meal for vegan option
  • 1/4 cup Milk Any kind or dairy alternative
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano Italian seasoning can be used instead
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil Can swap for Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Optional
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup For glazing
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For greasing the pan

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, onion, egg, milk, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf form and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice and serve warm with your favorite sides.
