Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Ground Beef by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for 6-8 minutes until well-browned and no longer pink, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add finely chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir together and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until onions are translucent and fragrant.
  3. In a separate pot, pour in the beef broth and stir in Worcestershire sauce and black pepper. Heat over medium heat and bring to a gentle simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Prepare the dumpling dough by mixing flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, and olive oil in a bowl. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling mixture into the simmering broth.
  5. Cover the pot with a lid and let the dumplings cook for about 15 minutes without lifting the lid.
  6. Gently fold the cooked ground beef mixture into the pot with the dumplings and broth. Warm together for a couple of minutes, then serve hot garnished with fresh parsley.
