Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey or chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey or chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, green onions, egg, garlic, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Stir until well mixed and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  6. Once the meatballs are done, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the glaze over them. Toss gently to coat the meatballs evenly.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
