Step‑By‑Step Instructions
  1. Peel, pit, and chop fresh mango until you have about one cup. Place the mango pieces in a blender.
  2. Add ½ cup of almond milk to the blender with the chopped mango. Blend on high speed until smooth, around 30 seconds.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine 2-3 tablespoons of hot water with matcha powder. Whisk until smooth, roughly 1 minute.
  4. Scoop the mango puree into a tall glass until it covers the bottom. Fill the glass halfway with ice cubes.
  5. Pour in the remaining almond milk over the ice, allowing it to blend with the mango puree.
  6. Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the almond milk layer to create layers.
  7. Drizzle honey or maple syrup on top for added sweetness, if desired.
