Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out your thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into rectangles, approximately 3x5 inches.
  3. Spread a generous layer of goat cheese onto half of each pastry rectangle. Add fresh, plump blackberries on top.
  4. Fold each pastry rectangle over to cover the filling, pressing the edges to seal them shut. Gently twist each filled rectangle.
  5. Brush the tops of each twist with an egg wash or milk.
  6. Place the twists on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Remove the twists from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm.
