  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter Softened.
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup Sugar Brown sugar adds depth.
  • 2 tablespoons Cinnamon Adjust based on preference.
  • 1/2 cup Softened butter
Glaze Ingredients
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese Softened.
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar Stevia can be used.
  • 1 tablespoon Matcha powder

Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. Combine warm milk, active dry yeast, and a pinch of sugar in a bowl. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix in flour, sugar, matcha powder, eggs, and butter until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Shape into a ball and place in a greased bowl.
  4. Cover and let rise in a warm area until doubled, about 1 hour.
Filling and Baking
  1. Mix softened butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl until creamy.
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and evenly spread the filling. Roll into a cylinder and slice into rolls.
  3. Place cut rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and matcha powder for the glaze. Drizzle over cooled rolls.
