- In a mixing bowl, combine ground pistachios, all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbles. Add a beaten egg and mix until dough forms. Press into a tart pan and chill for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the filling by combining fresh orange juice, orange zest, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and cardamom in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in beaten eggs and butter.
