Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Let the puff pastry sheets defrost for about 30 minutes until workable. Roll out the pastry to about 1/8 inch thick on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Mix together granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. Melt the butter and coat the rolled-out puff pastry generously with it using a pastry brush.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the brushed pastry.
  6. Slice the pastry into 1-inch wide strips and twist each strip to form a spiraled shape before placing them on the baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with extra melted butter or an egg wash, then bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
