  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko for lighter texture.
  • 2 large Eggs Acts as a binder.
  • 1/2 cup Milk Or cream for richer flavor.
  • 1 medium Onion (finely diced) Can substitute with onion powder.
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) Or garlic powder as substitute.
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard Yellow mustard can be used.
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Dried Parsley
  • 8 oz Swiss Cheese (sliced) Can substitute with provolone or mozzarella.
  • 4 oz Ham (sliced) Use leftover baked ham as needed.
For the Topping (optional)
  • 1 cup Shredded Swiss Cheese Or any melting cheese you prefer.
  • 1/4 cup Dijon-Mayo Blend Adjust to taste.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare a loaf pan by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, and seasonings. Mix gently until just combined.

  4. Take half of the chicken mixture and spread it evenly across the bottom of the prepared loaf pan. Layer with slices of ham followed by Swiss cheese. Spread remaining chicken mixture over the top.

  5. Press the edges of the meatloaf mixture together to seal openings.

  6. Bake for approximately 45 to 55 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  7. In the last 5 minutes of baking, spread the Dijon-mayo blend on top and sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese. Bake until cheese melts.
