For the Sandwich
  • 4 slices Sourdough Bread or any hearty bread
  • 2 tablespoons Salted Butter room temperature
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Gouda Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Kimchi fresh or store-bought
Optional Add-Ons
  • 1/2 fruit Avocado sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Gochujang optional
  • 2 slices Crispy Bacon optional

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Butter the outside of four slices of sourdough bread with room temperature salted butter.
  2. On the inside of two slices, layer sharp cheddar cheese, gouda cheese, and kimchi.
  3. Heat a cast-iron pan over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Cook the sandwiches for about 5 minutes until golden-brown, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from the pan, slice in half and serve warm.
