Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth.
  2. Gradually add the granulated sugar to the cream cheese mixture and mix until fully combined, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and whole milk, mixing on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Add vanilla extract, lemon zest, lemon juice, and salt; mix on low for about 1 minute until combined.
  5. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries with a spatula.
  6. Cover the mixing bowl and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours.
  7. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for 20-30 minutes until soft-serve consistency.
  8. Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  9. Allow the ice cream to sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes before serving.
