Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Pour in the lilac syrup and blend until smooth.
  4. Sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  5. Fold in the lilac petals delicately to avoid bruising.
  6. Shape heaping tablespoons of dough into balls and flatten to about 1/4 inch thick before placing on baking sheet.
