- In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Reduce the heat to low and whisk in the miso paste until fully dissolved.
- Add the diced tofu and rehydrated seaweed to the pot. Simmer for about 5 minutes to heat the tofu and allow the flavors to meld.
- Stir in the sliced green onions and soy sauce, if using. Cook for an additional minute.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with sesame oil, if desired. Serve warm.
