Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice a small head of cabbage into thick ½ inch slices and brush both sides generously with olive oil.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or turkey, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and add the egg if using.
  4. Form the meat mixture into patties and place them on cabbage slices.
  5. Bake the burgers in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until fully cooked.
  6. If desired, sprinkle cheese on top and broil for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until melted.
  7. Serve and enjoy, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
