Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5–6 minutes with a dough hook or by hand for 8–10 minutes.
  3. Shape the dough into a ball, place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for 1 to 1.5 hours.
  4. In a saucepan, heat additional olive oil and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Transfer the risen dough to a greased baking pan, press to stretch into corners, cover, and let rise for another 30–45 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F. Create dimples on the dough, brush with garlic oil, and sprinkle with Parmesan and seasonings.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Watch closely towards the end.
  8. Cool in the pan for 5–10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
