For the Bacon
  • 6 slices Bacon Can substitute with prosciutto
For the Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Oil Olive oil suggested
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic Finely chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon Soy Sauce For umami flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Oyster Sauce Can swap with soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cornstarch For thickening sauce
  • 1/3 cup Water For sauce consistency

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of water with salt and olive oil. Add chopped broccoli and cook for 3-5 minutes until vibrant green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a frying pan, heat olive oil and add bacon. Cook for 5-7 minutes until crispy and golden. Transfer to paper towels, leaving fat in the pan.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic on low for 1-2 minutes until golden. In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water to make the sauce.
  4. Pour the garlic sauce into the pan and stir for 10 seconds. Add broccoli and bacon, tossing gently to coat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
