Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Mix until all ingredients are well combined, but do not overmix.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the turkey patties to the skillet.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  5. Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
