- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out puff pastry to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Cut out star shapes using a star-shaped cutter, aiming for uniform sizes.
- Combine cream cheese and shredded cheese in a bowl until creamy and well-blended.
- Spoon cheese mixture onto half of the star shapes and place another star shape on top.
- Press edges to seal, using a fork to crimp them for decoration. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Watch closely while baking.
