  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¾ to 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to create a seasoning blend.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the seasoning blend evenly over the top of each fillet.
  4. Drizzle the lemon juice over the seasoned salmon.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
