- 1 cup crab meat, cooked and shredded
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup crushed crackers (such as Ritz or saltines)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crab meat, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop the mixture and form small balls.
- Roll each ball in the crushed crackers, then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the melted butter. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the crab balls for added crunch.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a few dashes of hot sauce to the crab mixture.
- You can also substitute the crab meat with cooked shrimp or lobster for a different seafood flavor.
