Description
A zesty and flavorful grilled salmon recipe infused with lemon and fresh herbs.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can sprinkle some red pepper flakes on the salmon before grilling for a spicy kick.
- Substitute the herbs with your favorites, such as basil or cilantro, for a different flavor profile.
