Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ¾ to 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to create a seasoning blend.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the seasoning blend evenly over the top of each fillet.
- Drizzle the lemon juice over the seasoned salmon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the seasoning blend.
- Try serving the salmon over a bed of sautéed spinach or alongside roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
